Design Team Contest

Over at Scrap4Life they are currently putting together a new Design Team. They host a series of 4 challenges to search for their new designers and each week a few contestants are eliminated. In the past I have never entered a scrapbooking contest nor have I tried out for a design team...so I gave it a shot. I successfully made it through the first 3 rounds, but unfortunately did not make it into the final round. Below are the three layouts I completed for the various challenges. I really enjoyed the challenges and had alot of fun with these layouts.


"FUN" was for Week 1. We had to complete a layout using circles as our background. I stamped the green circles myself...using a cap from one of Ryder's bottles LOL.

"Fall Fun 4 U" was created for Week 2. We had to create a seasonal (or holiday) layout without using any seasonal/holiday paper or embellishments (for example no stockings, presents, Santa's, etc for a Christmas layout). The journaling is a list of activities Parker enjoys throughout the fall season.
"First Day" was my layout for Week 3. We had to create a paper piecing for our layout. Paper piecing was 100% new for me, but I think the little schoolhouse I constructed turned out cute!
