This afternoon, as we sat down to lunch, we prayed before our meal.
Following the word Amen, Garrett quickly exclaimed he needed to pray again, but this time
with his eyes closed (as he had witnessed Mammy do the previous night over our table).
He then began to itch his eye...
...as he proclaimed, "Hold on God, I've got gunk in my eye!".
I am fairly certain God was laughing right alongside me at that one.

So cute! And I'm sure God was laughing too!
Love it!!! I'm sure that the honest prayers of children please our Father so much more than our "proper" lingo prayers----after all we are told to have faith like a like a little child :)
