We hope all of you had a festive 4th of July weekend! Friday night we joined family for a cookout and Oak Harbor's fireworks. Parker was very concerned about the firework
finale as in when is it, what is it, etc. Garrett (as always) was full of excitement and giddy by the display. Little dude was upset when they started, but was clapping and smiling by the finale.
Check out my little firecrackers...

The
extra kiddos in the middle are my nephews, Ashton and Breydan

Saturday night we gathered with friends at the beach for a picnic, swimming, and more fireworks. We went with the intent of seeing
Put-in-Bay and
Port Clinton's fireworks, but discovered that a vast number of beach residents had purchased their own arsenal of fireworks as well. I am not just referring to bottle rockets and sparklers, folks! Holy cow! We were sitting
right under a grand display of color and sound.
Enjoy the remainder of your holiday weekend!
