Apple Jack

In addition to October Afternoon, I believe Sassafras Lass has to be my favorite brand for scrapbook goodies. I pulled out some pieces of the Apple Jack line I purchased and got busy this past weekend. I used to be so timid when it came to patterned paper, but now I am embracing it:)

Good bye is a scraplift of my friend, Jenney. She is such a talented scrapper and I just love her layouts! These photos are from Parker's last day of preschool in May 2009. Journaling reads: Good bye preschool...hello Kindergarten! It's hard to believe today is your last day.

Birthday boy features Garrett on his 4th birthday. At the time he was crazy about kitty kats and requested kitty kat cupcakes for his special day. I was more than happy to grant him his wish! They turned out so cute. The photo of him licking the cupcake prior to actually eating it is 100% typical of Garrett.
