Christmas with Mammy 2009

For the past few years we have been celebrating Christmas with my Mom, brothers, Sister-in-Law, etc the week before Christmas. We still see them at some point on Christmas Eve and/or Christmas, but it is nice to break up the gift giving (and eating) throughout the week. This year we got together at my brother and sister-in-law's apartment for our festivities. Their apartment is so spacious and it gives the kiddos plenty of space to play. Thanks for having us over, Leslie and Craig!

Parker and Garrett with their cousin, Ashton...Ashton
is one year older than Parker, but my goodness so much taller.
His mom is 6 feet tall and when she tells my boys
something they tend to listen;)

My nephew, Breydan...not amused standing in front of the tree
to have his picture taken. He will be two in less than two weeks!

Our crazy child, Ryder (or psychopath as his Uncle Jerry calls him)...
if Hudson is a 1/4 of him we are in trouble!

Mom tends to spoil all of us...

This was Garrett's reaction to pretty much every gift he opened...
he was so happy (and thankful)!

Parker has a slight obsession with Panda Bears (and calendars)...
Mammy spent a whopping $1.50 on this at Big Lots and Parker ADORES it!

For most of the evening Ryder was content with two things...
his new Elmo toothbrush and the cups of fruit Jell-O that all of the kiddos
received in their stockings. Then Mammy pulled out 4x4's for each Ryder and
Breydan...they were thrilled!

The older two boys each received a nice set of Lincoln Logs that have been a HUGE hit. They have spent the better part of the past week building cabins and such. Many thanks to "Mammy" for all our gifts and a fantastic dinner. The boys were thrilled with their gifts from "Aunt Weslie", too. She made an awesome fleece tie-blanket for Ryder (with frogs on it) that he and I are in love with. I have been meaning to make him one (as I have for the older two boys), but have been putting it off. Thanks, Leslie!

I had quite the obsession with pandas when I was Parker's age. It was the same time the pandas came to the Toledo Zoo! I love it! Looks like you had a great time! :)
