Today marks Parker's first snow day...no school! Of course we did not discover school had been cancelled until arriving at Kersten Korners Preschool. Prior to us leaving for school there had only been a 2 hour delay. A 2 hour delay does not affect Parker's starting time for the AM session (8:30), but it does affect those students who attend all day and arrive prior to 8:30. B-C-S school system (whose "schedule" we follow) made the decision to close at some point between us leaving for school and arriving at the school (of course).
The boys enjoyed the drive to school regardless and LOVED looking out the window at all of the snow:)
Parker was a little disappointed that school had been cancelled, because today was "Mickey Mouse Day". He and his classmates were supposed to celebrate Mickey today...sporting Mickey Mouse attire, sharing their Mickey Mouse stuffed animals, reading books about Mickey Mouse, etc.
