We opened our home to my mom's side of the family on Christmas Eve. It is amazing how much our "small" family has grown with the addition of spouses and now great grandchildren. Christmas 2008 will include the faces of three more great grandchildren (that we know of so far!). It was great getting together with the "Kelley" side of the family...sitting back laughing, eating (lots!!!), watching the little kids play, and watching Shrek (thanks to Garrett). The boys opened a few gifts...Parker was thrilled with his new Spiderman undies!
Once our company left we cleaned up the "damage" and set out to play Santa. This year it was quite the task as we had to lug my mom's gifts up from our basement as well. We were all spoiled this year!!!
We waited till the last minute to purchase a live tree for our living room...check out the great tree we scored for only $10!
