Today when I picked Parker up from school I walked in and found his class rehearsing for their upcoming Christmas Program. It was one of the sweetest events I have encountered. Together their voices are beautiful and LOUD.During the program the kids must introduce themselves as well. Parker and his classmates were practicing their introductions too. Most of the kids were rather shy at this point, but not my Parker. I think the former cheerleader in his mom came out! When it was his turn Parker proudly proclaimed "I am Parker Ryan Lindsay and I am 3 years old!" His teacher was pleased and replied, "Great job Parker...that is what we want to hear!"
I am so excited for his Christmas Program December 19th. Yet, on the other hand I am saddened that my first baby is growing up so fast and ready to take part in a Christmas Program. It is definately bitter sweet...
