We began potty training Parker one week ago and overall he has done really well:) He has been sporting underwear at all times with the exception of wearing a diaper for naptime and bedtime (that will come in time).
While at the park yesterday I had to take Parker into a port a potty to use the bathroom...it was one of the scariest experiences of my life! The next time you see Parker ask him about the pee shield that has been sacrificed into the great unknown-he will tell you all about it.
I have realized that when you are potty training it consumes your entire life (those of you who have been through this process understand what I am saying).
Garrett can now shake his head "yes" instead of always "no". FYI...the use of "no" far outweighs the use of "yes":)
I co-hosted a bridal shower on Saturday. We had about 70 people RSVP "yes" and only 40 people showed up. How rude!
My right ankle has been used and abused for the past week (Parker first hit it while extending the footrest on the recliner, for some reason my boys insist on stepping on my feet while I am sitting on the floor, I should have stopped working out at that point-yet did not, etc.). At the current time it is causing me quite a bit of pain.
The boys are hooked on little Tonka Vehicles that can be purchased at Wal-Mart for $1. 87. They have quite the collection going on. I am pretty certain we will be adding to their collection today as well.
I have not wanted to *jinx* Eric, but I hope to be sharing about his new job very soon:)
