The boys received a piggy bank this winter from Mammy that has been slowly getting filled. We told Parker the money inside was for small treats, trips to the dairy queen, etc. Last night Eric took both of the boys to the dairy queen and later in the evening Parker was relaying the details of their trip to Grandma and Papa. Grandma instructed Papa to dig into his pockets and give the boys some money for their piggy bank. Parker slowly put each coin into the bank listening to the sound each "plop" made. Once he had dropped all of the coins inside he picked up the bank and headed towards Grandma. He extended the bank to her, looked up at her with his big blue eyes, and then with a tilt of his head sweetly asked "You got any money?".
For the record she headed off to find her purse.
