After a few laps around the campground in the truck, Eric successfully backed the trailer into our campsite. Soon thereafter he realized he was without the key to the trailer hitch lock. With our truck blocking a road within the campground, Eric began to panic. I quickly ushered the boys into the camper to give Daddy some breathing room and hoped for the best. Thankfully, within minutes Eric had busted the lock off and simply said we would need a new lock prior to our departure. After a long day of traveling, we took a stroll through the campground before settling into bed for the night.
The following morning Eric and I set up our site as the older three boys rode bikes and Hudson napped. Throughout the day, two of Eric's brothers (one with a friend and our boat in tow), our niece, and Eric's parents arrived as well.

Ryder put his new bike to good use throughout our stay
With foot pegs on their new bikes, Parker and Garrett are capable of giving each other rides and love every minute of it!
Sweet Hudson chilling in his beep beep car
Eric getting our first campfire going
Throughout the week we learned Garrett is slightly obsessed with campfires...lovely
Our campsite...we set up our tent for additional storage. It made a great place to store the bike trailer and stroller at night.
Check back for Part 2 of our trip...
