What a Weekend!

We have been on the go all weekend! On Saturday morning the boys and I headed to the zoo with my mom. Our first stop was the "fishies", but Parker quickly proclaimed that he wanted to go see the "outside animals". We stopped short of that next task by playing at the playground and taking a ride on the carasoul. Parker declined to sit on a horse, but enjoyed sitting on one of the bench seats w/ mammy (we later learned the carasoul went around 18 times). Garrett LOVED the carasoul and was even kicking the horse to try and make it go faster (ha,ha).

The four of us eventually got around to seeing more "outside animals" and both boys behaved so nicely:) It was a long day and on our way back to the van Garrett fell asleep (complete w/ frozen water bottle in tow). We are hoping to make another trip to the zoo later this summer, but with "daddy" in tow.

Sunday we headed over to a friend's house for a BBQ and riding on the dirtbike track. We were able to meet Matt and Carey's 8 week old daughter Courtney as well (a little doll!). Parker and Garrett were happy to watch the little dirtbikes, play in the dirt, run around, and each took a ride with Eric.

It was a great weekend with great weather...hopefully all of you were outside enjoying it too!
