The boys and I spent most of the day outside yesterday due to the gorgeous weather. It didn't take Parker long to find the lone puddle in our yard and for Garrett to follow Parker to that puddle. With ten shovels, garden trowels, spades, buckets, and such in tow they had a GREAT time. I sat back and had a blast just watching them get filthy:) Garrett mimicked just about everything Parker did and they played together so nicely (this is RARE!).As you can tell from this picture Garrett really got into his "work" and Parker is in need of a haircut (a norm for him since his hair grows so FAST). Shortly after these pictures we headed inside for dinnner...spaghetti....followed by suckers. Yes, the bath water was full of floaties last night!
Eric and I spent most of the weekend (after the boys had went to bed in OUR bedroom) painting their room. I sent Eric to Lowe's with Parker's pillow sham in search of the perfect colors and he did AWESOME. The room turned out great and I will post some pictures once I get Parker's new bedding on and some curtains made this weekend.
